We strongly suggest you register at the
Fogleman Center, which is on campus.
There will be a complimentary welcoming reception at the end of the first day of
the conference (Saturday Oct. 11, 7-9 pm). In addition, there will be a conference dinner
held on Sunday Oct. 12. Tickets to this event may be purchased at the same time
you register for the conference, but we will need your reservation before 15 Sep 2008.
Presented articles will be published (in both printed and electronic form) in
the form of "Special Issues on Applied Mathematics and Approximation Theory"
in the Journal of Concrete and Applicable Mathematics. These will be survey
papers by the invited speakers and refereed contributed papers. The charge for
three special issues is included in the registration fee; each conference participant
will receive electronic versions (pdf) of these special issues. Others interested may
purchase printed copies at www.eudoxuspress.com. Please use the following link
for information on how proceedings articles should be submitted.

INVITATION
LETTER:
After you have sent in the registration
forms for AMAT 2008, please let us know
if you wish to receive a letter of invitation.
We will then send you an invitation letter,
sent to you on letterhead stationery, which
you may use for example to apply for a U.S.
travel visa or support from your institution.
If you later decide to cancel your trip,
please let us know.
NOTE:
In order to receive an invitation
letter for the purpose of applying for a
U.S. visa, we ask you to send us your
curriculum vitae as a pdf file.
AMAT 2008, please
register at your earliest
convenience. If you
register before
September 15, 2008,
you will save by
paying a reduced
registration fee.
Also, you avoid
standing in line!
