Department of Mathematical Sciences

The Department of Mathematical Sciences invites applications for anticipated instructorship positions in Mathematics for the 2008– 2009 academic year. Applicants must have at least a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics and a strong commitment to lower division undergraduate instruction at the University of Memphis. Experience is desired. Normal duties will include teaching courses such as College Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Mathematics for Liberal Arts majors, as well as assisting with other aspects of the undergraduate instructional program such as supervising graduate teaching assistants.

Selection will begin on March 15, 2008 and may continue until all positions are filled. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must meet the Immigration Reform Act criteria. Applicants should submit a resume and direct three letters of reference to.
