“Calculus and Its Applications” by Marvin Bittinger
(9th edition) and
2. A graphing calculator with similar features to those
available in the Texas Instruments (TI 83).

of your textbook following the timetable
described in the chart below. The chapter and section numbers refer to the
textbook and edition mentioned above. You are also encouraged to check the

Evaluation: Your final grade is the average of the 3 best test
grades, homework/classwork grade, and a final exam
grade, according to the scale:
90-100 = A,
80-89 = B, 70- 79 = C, 55- 69 = D.
The final exam is comprehensive and
will be administered on Thursday, May 1 at
8:00am (you should check the schedule of classes).
You will also have weekly
homework assignments and short in-class quizzes.
